Notice to the Campus Community from University Police

Crime Alert: Attempted Simple Robbery

On March 9, 2016, at approximately 7:19 p.m., UL Police received a call in reference to an attempted robbery on Rex St. The victim stated he was walking on Rex St. near the bus stop when someone walking behind him pulled his book sack in an attempt to take it. The victim stated he turned around and punched the suspect, who then ran in the direction of E. Lewis St. The suspect is described as a white male, approximately six-foot tall with dirty blonde hair, wearing a gray Under Armour hoodie and dark-colored blue jeans.
