Notice to the Campus Community from University Police

Crime Alert:  Unauthorized Entry

Sometime during the night between the hours of 10 p.m. (October 1) and 12:30 a.m. (October 2), an unknown person or persons gained entry into a Legacy Park apartment (Thibodeaux) through an unlocked balcony door. The residents were asleep in their rooms and did not hear anything. Electronic items were taken from the living room and money was removed from a wallet also from the living room. The area was immediately canvassed. There is no suspect information.

As a reminder, please make certain that all doors and windows are securely locked.

This information is being provided in an effort to comply with the federal Jeanne Clery Act.
