Notice to the Campus Community from University Police

Crime Alert: Armed Robbery

At approximately 8:52 p.m. on Aug. 4, 2015, Lafayette City Police dispatched officers to the 300 Block of McKinley Street, in reference to an armed robbery. The victim stated the suspects were two white males armed with hunting rifles and pepper spray and were wearing camouflage clothing. After the robbery, the victim stated that the suspects left in an unknown type vehicle in an unknown direction. The Lafayette Police Department is investigating.
