Notice to the Campus Community from University Police

Crime alert: Carjacking

On May 18, 2015, Lafayette City Police was dispatched to Lafayette General in reference to a victim being battered. The victim alleged he was walking to his vehicle at  Cajun Field between 1 p.m and 4 p.m. on May 17, 2015, when two males attacked him. The attackers were said to be of average height and build. The victim alleged the suspects battered him and took the key to his vehicle and then stole his vehicle. This case remains under investigation.
