University set to open Tuesday, Feb. 24

The University of Louisiana at Lafayette will be open Tuesday, Feb. 24. Classes will be held as scheduled.

Students who are not able to travel to classes should contact professors to discuss their situation. If a student needs further assistance, he or she can contact the Dean of Students Office at deanofstudents@louisiana.edu or 337-482-6270.

Faculty and staff members who are unable to travel to work should contact their immediate supervisor.

The Spring 2015 Career Fair will be open Tuesday 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Cajundome Convention Center. The McNeese State versus Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns baseball game will start at 6 p.m. at Tigue Moore Field. Grammy-winning artist Irvin Mayfield will perform at a free concert in Angelle Hall at 7 p.m.

The Chef John Besh book signing and talk that was scheduled for Tuesday is postponed until further notice. The UL Lafayette Early Childhood Lab at the Picard Center in UL Lafayette’s Research Park will be closed Tuesday.
