Travel restrictions and reporting related to the Ebola epidemic

The University continues to monitor the international Ebola virus epidemic and is following the guidance of federal and state officials. To date, no cases have been reported at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

Official university travel by students and employees to countries identified by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as having a threat of contracting the Ebola virus disease remains suspended for the duration of the epidemic.

If you intend to travel outside the United States, visit the CDC’s website at http://wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel/notices to determine if any country you plan to visit is on the list of countries identified as having a threat of contracting the Ebola virus. If a country is on the list, employees must contact their supervisor; students would contact the Office of Student Health Services for assistance.
