The University continues to monitor the Ebola virus and is following the guidance of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Louisiana Governor’s Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness, and the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals.
There are no known or suspected incidents of direct or indirect exposure to the Ebola virus among members of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette community.
In accordance with its All Hazards Incident Action Plan, the University has a specific communicable disease plan that is applicable to the Ebola virus. Please review and become familiar with the preparedness plan. In accordance with this plan, the University is at Phase I. Should this change, you will be notified.
